Tamara Schmidt, nature connection guide and life coach
About Tamara Schmidt

Welcome.
I'm glad you're here.

I'm a nature connection guide, experiential herbalist, and life coach. I work with women who are ready to stop putting themselves last.

My work is for sensitive, thoughtful women who've spent years being capable, responsible, and "fine" while quietly feeling depleted, scattered, or like they've lost the thread back to themselves.

Life Coaching Forest Therapy Experiential Herbalism Eastern Townships

Practical, warm,
and real.

Together, we build the steadiness, clarity, and self-trust that makes real change possible without turning your life into a self-improvement project.

Nature informs everything I do, but it's never a requirement. Sometimes our work happens outdoors. Sometimes it happens on a couch, with a cup of tea and a single honest breath.

Coaching with me supports you when you're:

  • navigating a life transition or identity shift
  • rebuilding self-trust after years of overgiving
  • learning what boundaries actually feel like from the inside
  • untangling that quiet pressure of "I should be doing better"
  • wanting a life that finally feels like yours

If you've ever felt relied on but not truly valued, in love, family, or work, you're not alone. That dynamic can scramble your inner compass. Part of this work is learning to trust what you know again.

If you've been valued for what you do more than who you are, you're in the right place.

You deserve support that doesn't require self-abandonment.

Sunflower in full bloom with a bee — nature's quiet invitation to be present

The thread that runs
through everything.

My roots are in forest therapy, experiential herbalism, and everyday encounters with the living world, including city nature: sky, trees, weather, weeds pushing through sidewalks, houseplants, a garden in June, small moments of noticing.

I guide forest therapy sessions locally in the Eastern Townships, and I work with women online across Canada. Whether you're stepping into the woods with me or meeting over Zoom with a window behind you, the invitation is the same: come back to what's alive in you.

For many people, regular contact with nature makes it easier to settle, to listen inward, and to come back to what matters. Not as a magical fix, but as a steady support.

Tending what's
alive in you.

From putting everyone else first, to genuinely tending yourself.

Sève is an app I built for women who are ready to make nature connection a real part of their lives. The name means sap in French, that quiet rising force inside the tree that does its work before anyone sees it.

Through a simple daily practice of tuning in, Sève helps you notice what you're feeling, what you need, and what you want. From that place of awareness, you start moving in the direction of your own life. Your dreams. Your energy. Your choices.

This isn't about self-improvement. It's about recognizing that your life matters too. When you tend your own Sève, you show up more authentically for everything and everyone else.

Some people start with the app and later choose coaching. Some begin with coaching and use Sève as ongoing support. You're welcome either way.

Beauty you
can live with.

My Etsy shop grew out of my own daily practice of noticing. The images there, from flowers blooming to pollinators at work, from late afternoon light to small seasonal details, are not just pretty pictures.

They're reminders of interconnection.
A pause you can hang on your wall.
A moment of beauty you can return to.
A small invitation to begin again.

Growing
with purpose.

This work doesn't stop at the edge of the garden or the forest path. I believe in giving back to what sustains us. That's why I donate 2% of profits to causes that align with my values.
