Your privacy matters here. Sève collects only what is necessary to provide the service, stores it carefully, and will never sell it or use it to reach you in ways you have not asked for.
Who we are
Sève is operated by Fleurbain, a sole proprietorship based in Cowansville, Quebec, Canada. The person responsible for your data is Tamara Schmidt. You can reach her at hello@fleurbain.com.
What we collect and why
We collect the minimum necessary to operate Sève:
- Email address — used to create your account and send your login code. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
- First name — used to greet you personally within the app.
- Nature time entries — the minutes you log, stored so your history persists across devices.
- Community contributions — photos you share to the Met wall and words you contribute to the Rising poem, displayed to other members as part of the shared experience.
- Device and session data — basic technical data (browser type, access times) collected automatically by our infrastructure providers to keep the service running.
We do not collect location data, health data, or any behavioural tracking beyond what is described above.
How your data is stored
Your account data is stored securely with Supabase (infrastructure provider) using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Audio files and content are served via Cloudflare. Payments are processed by Paddle, who act as the Merchant of Record and maintain their own privacy practices, available at paddle.com.
Who can see your data
Your personal information (email, name, tracker history) is visible only to you and to Tamara as the service operator. Community contributions (photos, words) are visible to all Sève members as part of the shared practice. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party for any purpose.
Applicable law
Sève is based in Quebec, Canada. Your data is governed by Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you are located in the European Economic Area, we also comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us.
Cookies
Sève uses only functional cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your membership is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent to any data processing at any time
- File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information (Quebec) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify members by email before the changes take effect.
